If you haven’t played Swiss Cheese Halloween #1, then don’t. You get to play it right here, minus the sporty red skateboard. You start out peering at poster of a girl in a bikini, and you are in the mist of Halloween. Everything seems to be going well, you see some VERY good models of scientists dressed up as Frankenstein and ghosts, and you can almost hear them breath a sigh of relieve that they escaped Black Mesa alive. So you trot over to your friend’s house and stock up on Halloween necessities, such as a shotgun, submachine gun, detpacks and grenades. No, your not going to my house and smashing my garden gnomes…you’re going to the hillbilly house down the street! Then, the old fun-loving Grim Reapers are back, and the scientists shutter and groan at the fact that once again, they are used for target practice. And so starts a surprisingly well-done and creepy mod named “Swiss Cheese Halloween 2002″. It’s a refreshing look at the theme-based mod with excellent models, well-meaning atmospheres and sounds that come only from the most gifted of audio mixers. Read more

Everybody knows that I am just not much of a college football fan on the consoles.
I will admit that I was, once again, not very excited about playing this year’s installment of NCAA 06. I was thinking it was going to be the same game with a new roster and a few new animations. Greetings, citizens of Vana’Diel, these months just seem to be flying by don’t they? Well, some days go faster than others, you know what I’m talking about if you tried logging in during the recent massive maintenance updates to our beloved game. Square-Enix performed two, ten hour services in the span of a week and a half. I hope that didn’t happen to fall on anyone’s day off work; if it did, well, that’s a bummer, but the good news is we should be all set to go for some time now. Read more
