In Japan, Square-Enix draws a crowd like Master Chief or Grand Theft Auto does in the US. So it is only fitting that Square’s 2006 Tokyo Game Show booth was incredibly crowded. One platform Square is trying to support is the Nintendo DS. Looking at their TGS booth, many, many DS Lite units were present with a playable demo of Front Mission 1st. Read more

X06: Banjo-Kazooie Trailer

September 28, 2006

At X06, Microsoft finally unveiled the title I have predicted Rare to be working on. One thing great about the Tokyo Game Show is that we get a chance to see all of the great games that are released in the Japanese market. Unfortunately, this also means we see games that we would want to play on our US consoles. MotorStorm

September 25, 2006

motor4.jpgOne of the most visually stunning tech demos shown at E3 2005 was MotorStorm. Although the game has made a ton of progress since we last saw it at E3 2006, it still is not at the quality of the tech demo. That said, MotorStorm looks like it could be the second best launch title for the PlayStation 3. That is the last thing I expected to say after seeing the game at E3 earlier this year. Read more
