After promising us the moon and giving us a sliver of it, Bioware is trying to make it up to the fans by working with EA Mobile in Mass Effect Galaxy. While it isn’t the DLC and ongoing content we were first promised to have, but an iPhone game that bridges the gap between Mass Effect 1 and the upcoming sequel is sure better than nothing, right? We all know that the Nintendo Wii is not nearly as powerful or as beloved by the hardcore sports fanatic. This has not stopped EA from trying to find the right formula to bring their phenomenal football franchise to the masses of casual players on the Wii. Past attempts have been left with lukewarm responses but Tiburon has been given the reigns to try it once more in Madden 10 for the Wii. Read more
Pre-E3 2009: Ghostbusters

There’s something strange, in my PS3–Who Ya Going to Call? The Ghostbusters of course! We had a chance to sit down with the latest build of The Ghostbusters game, coming June 16, and it is shaping up very nicely.
For those of you not aware with the history of the game and Ghostbusters franchise, the game will take the places of the long-rumored–but never realized third film. The script for the game was penned by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis and is full of the wit, sarcasm, and fun of the two films. In fact, after spending just a little time with Ghostbusters, it will make you appreciate how satisfying it is to be an actual part of the Ghostbusters team. Pre-E3 2009: Guitar Hero 5

Neversoft continues to evolve the Guitar Hero franchise in Guitar Hero 5. Players won’t find any new instruments in this version though. While a Keytar, keyboard, or other instruments would be nice, Guitar Hero 5 will focus its attention on the social aspects of gameplay. While the focus of the title will still include everything from the past, Neversoft feels that Guitar Hero 5 is the premiere social gaming experience. The Nikkei newspaper, in Japan, has reported that Nintendo will announce Wii Fit Plus and a new Mario game at E3 2009, during their Media Briefing on Tuesday, June 2. Read more

The long-rumored new addition to the PSP family, the PSP Go, was leaked to the tubes of the Internet this weekend–just days before Sony was scheduled to unveil the console at its Tuesday, June 2, 2009, E3 Media Briefing. Atari just can’t seem to catch a break. After somehow convincing Phill Harrison to come lead the company, the struggling Publisher has done nothing but bleed month with very little success. Infogrames hopes to right the wrongs and has shaken up management in an effort to make the company profitable. This begins with Phil Harrison being removed as President and placed in a “non-Executive Director level position.” Read more
