DJ Hero Goes Renegade

RedOctane and Activision announced today that the upcoming DJ Hero game will have a special Renegade Edition that will feature JAY-Z and EMINEM. In addition to this, the premium bundle will include a high-end turntable controller, a case that converts into a full stand, and exclusive unreleased tracks from the before-mentioned artists. The King of Fighters XII Releases

Ignition Entertainment and SNK PLAYMORE are excited to announce that The King of Fighters XII is now available nationwide for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system.  

The King of Fighters XII is rated T for Teen and is available for $59.99. “This is a 2D arcade-style fighting game in which players compete in one-on-one combat with a large international cast of selectable characters. Players engage in hand-to-hand battles by mostly kicking, punching, and blocking their way to victory until the opposing player’s life meter runs out. Players can also trigger special moves to cause larger amounts of damage to their opponents.” Read more

Ubisoft Delays Conviction and Red Steel 2

Two of the top titles from E3 2009, Splinter Cell Conviction and Red Steel 2 have been delayed until 2010. Delays are nothing new to the gaming industry and some of the most high-profile titles can often see their respective release dates pass by. Splinter Cell Conviction is very familiar with such delays as the title has been in development and has even see the project make at least one complete reboot. I can definitely understand Conviction wanting to make sure they get things done right and slipping to a Spring 2010 will give more time for this and leave the title with less competition. Read more

From the minds of geniuses, Nintendo started a revolution. It began with a simple thought–What if we made games fun again? That decision was reached with a controller that resembled a remote control. Though Nintendo would later add an analog stick attached to this “Wiimote,” their path–through this generation–was set. The only thing left was a game to bundle this idea with.
