PDP showcases E3 2010 line up

June 20, 2010

Besides debuting the Wii’s first voice chat headset, Performance Design Products had quite a few other accessories on display in their E3 booth.

The company has a number of deals with Disney this year, including special edition TRON: Legacy  controllers for the Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3. Inspired by the upcoming film, the controllers look pretty sharp with their glowing blue lines. The 360 and PS3 controllers will be retailing for $49.99, while the Wiimote is priced at $39.99. All three versions will be in stores a month before the movie arrives this fall. PDP also has an accessory line for Epic Mickey, the anticipated game by famed designer Warren Spector. Our favorite item in this line has to be the paintbrush shaped Wii nunchuck.

Just in time for the unveiling of Kinect, Microsoft’s motion control device, PDP has a series of accessories to help ease the new device into users’ living rooms. The company is manufacturing a stand for Kinect to rest on, as well as mounts which can be used to place it on the wall or on top of a TV.

Finally, for PS3 users frustrated with tediously typing out messages using the on screen virtual keyboard, PDP is releasing a wireless keyboard. Selling for $79.99, the keyboard will come bundled with a Bluetooth headset.
