NBA Street V3

It’s not everyday that I’m excited to open up a new sports game, especially during the month of February. But all that changed when I opened up my brand-spanking new copy of NBA Street vol.3. I will tell you this right now, after playing this game for countless hours by myself and with friends, this game is by far the best game of it’s type.
First, let’s dive into some of the countless brand new features this game has. The first and I think the most important new feature is that this game is now online on xbox live. Not to mention the career mode, which allows you to try and make it to the nba level. Second is the ability to pocket your regular gamebreakers and strive to achieve the all new super gamebreaker, which takes away double the points of a regular gamebreaker. Another addition to this already great game is the myriad of new moves given to the player. Moves like Off the Heezay, which lets you pass the ball of your opponent’s head (I’ve had many a good laugh with that one), and Back to Papa, letting you pass the ball of the backboard back to yourself.
While playing the game on all 3 consoles, I noticed that each game looks fantastic. The xbox version looks and plays like a dream. The only complaint that I have is that it doesn’t support 720p. but that’s just being nit-picky.
The game plays smoothly on all platforms, but with street finally being available on xbox live, I can tell you that the xbox version is the one to get hands down. EA managed to use all of the buttons on each controller, but surprisingly they don’t hinder the flow of the game at all. You can use each button on the controller and pull off one of the most mind-bending moves you have ever seen in a video game. It’s unbelievable.
In closing, this game is the best incarnation of streetball I’ve yet to come across. And I highly suggest you buy it, I don’t care what system you have.
