We have discussed and finally have reached a conclusion on the top 5 things we saw at E3 2014.
Overall Best of Show - The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt
What more can we say about our overall Best Game of E3: The Witcher 3? The game is draw-dropping beautiful with huge draw distances. Looking out into the world, you can explore anywhere you see. Whats more is this world is full of rich storytelling experiences with interesting characters, tons of quests to participate in, and quests that actually give you choice and mean something. This 2015 title should be on your short list of games you must own on your PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC platforms.
Runner up - Astro A38
Astro Gaming is known for creating some of the highest quality gaming headsets on the market today and our review of the Astro A50 and Astro A40 proves just that. Astro is now heading into more of a mainstream electronic with the upcoming release of the Astro A38. This is a bluetooth headset that will connect to your PlayStation Vita, Android Smart Phone, iPhone, iPad, and other tablets and mobile devices.
This is also the first non-gaming device we have picked to be included in our “Best of E3” Awards.
Runner up - Evolve
Evolve really does “evolve” the gameplay found in Left for Dead and Left for Dead 2 by giving players set roles to work together with and even jump in and play as the monster who is hunting the four players. 4 v 1 gameplay is super exciting, fun, and delivers an experience unlike anything you have ever played before.
Runner up - Tales from the Borderlands
The world of Borderlands is expanding with Tales from the Borderlands from TellTale Games. Just because you see the title Borderlands, don’t expect a First Person Shooter. This is very much an adventure game built on the same engine that other great TellTale franchises were built on like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
Runner up - No Man's Sky
An indie studio creating a game that looks like so much fun, the entire industry is buzzing about it. No Man’s Sky is coming first to PlayStation and it gives players the chance to not only explore a world and discover its animals—-but hop in your spaceship, blast into space, shoot up asteroids, shoot enemy ships, and fly to your next planet.
