As we speculated last week, Bungie's upcoming Destiny will not see a release in 2013. The title is set to be released in 2014 on Xbox 360, Xbox 720, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Bungie plans on revealing the world of Destiny as it is released in multiple installments over a 10 year period. Activision is rumored to still be counting the money they are going to make on the next big First Person Shooter. You can see more about Destiny with the reveal video below:
Kotaku got an exclusive insider telling them more about the next Xbox, Xbox 720--codenamed Durango, that will require the new Kinect 2.0 to be plugged in and calibrated for the new console to function. This means that Microsoft will have a camera and microphone that will be active every second you have your new Xbox online. Nintendo is talking about the Wii U price and release except they won't reveal them until sometime in 2012. Satoru Iwata is worried that the recent price drop on the 3DS may give people a negative reaction to any further Wii U announcements. Since Nintendo peed on the hardcore, and early 3DS adopters, this is probably a good idea. How about a new Zelda or Mario when you show off the Wii U next?
