Nintendo has revealed some plans that are sure to turn smiles upside down for those who enjoyed attending the Nintendo E3 Press Briefing each year before the show began. Historically, Nintendo has had their E3 Press Briefing the Tuesday E3 began several hours before the show floor opened. For Nintendo, this gave them “the last word” after Microsoft and Sony moved their Press Briefings back to Monday.
Nintendo has elected to cease their E3 Press Briefing and will focus on their Nintendo Direct events. Nintendo Boss Satoru Iwata says:
Two of Nintendo's top-selling video game systems are getting attractive new prices. Effective May 20, the suggested retail price for the larger Nintendo DSi XL will be $129.99 and the suggested retail price for Nintendo DSi will be $99.99.
It's almost hard to believe that this game only costs ten dollars. Back in 1999, brand-new racing/driving games retailed for as much as $50 (at best, you could buy a new racer for $40). Now you...
