Bringing a new story to the pandemonium, over the top situations, and the chaos of Pandora comes Tales from the Borderlands, a five-episode story created by Telltale Games. Tales from the Borderlands takes place after events in Borderlands 2--only this time you find yourself following the footsteps of an up and coming employee and his friend of the Hyperion company. Beware though, if you have not played through all of Borderlands 2, some spoilers may be seen or heard.

Over my years of gaming, I’d have to say I’ve never really seen anything quite like Guild of Dungeoneering. Definitely a more casual style game, but definitely fun and interesting, to say the least! So let’s hop right into it--there’s a lot of different, interesting elements to this game. First, obviously, you’re going to be exploring dungeons. But, in the case of Guild of Dungeoneering, you create the dungeon that you explore. No, I didn’t stutter. YOU, the player, create the dungeon.

Bandits, and griffins, and witches! OH MY! These are a few foes you will encounter in this epic tale of mystery, adventure, and romance. Geralt of Rivia returns to find his missing protégé while ridding the towns of bandits and scary monsters along the way. WARNING! This review is that of my own opinion and should be noted any previous games involving the title Witcher have not been played; therefore, giving me an unbiased and open opinion.

This is an open-world role-playing game in which players assume the role of Geralt, a monster hunter in search of a missing woman. Players explore a war-ravaged world while completing quests and killing enemy soldiers and fantastical creatures (e.g., wraiths, harpies, rock beasts). Characters engage in melee-style combat using swords and other bladed weapons, as well as magical attacks (e.g., blasts of fire, stun spells); combat is highlighted by screams of pain and impact sounds. Large blood-splatter effects occur when enemies are slashed, with some attacks resulting in decapitation or dismemberment. Some cutscenes depict slow-motion decapitations and other gore: an autopsy of a torture victim, rooms with several corpses (e.g., hanging from the ceiling, covered in blood on a bed, naked in a tub). During the course of the game, the central character can engage in sexual activity with prostitutes and female companions. These brief sequences depict females' breasts and buttocks—sexual moaning sounds can be heard, though the camera cuts away from explicit sexual acts. The game includes a side quest in which Geralt engages in a drinking game; characters are depicted drunk and/or passed out. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “c*nt” can be heard in the dialogue. Tags:
