When normally seeing a new Square Enix game released, I would like to think I could trust that no matter what they release, it will offer some sort of magical Role Playing experience. For the most part, this theory is true. However, there have been a few exceptions to this rule. After playing Unlimited Saga, I am afraid to admit that not only is this another exception to the rule, it could be the worst Square Enix game ever released. Since the company hasn't been "officially" together for very long--allow me to rephrase this statement. This could be the worst game that either company has ever released. Yes, it is that bad.

Remember the old song--2nd verse same as the first. This sums up Dot.Hack in a nutshell.
Dot.Hack is a one player RPG that is meant to look and feel like you are playing a MMORPG. If you don't know what a MMORPG odds are you have no game magazines or have never heard of the in-ter-net. But to humor people, a MMORPG is a Massive, Multiplayer, Online, Role, Playing, Game. This is a one player game made by Bandai that is trying to make a franchise out of a video game and doing it in reverse order. There was a cartoon on Cartoon Network and action figures before the 1st installment of the game even came out. Bandai was trying to create a "buzz" about the game. Did it work????? It worked on me.

The first Zone of the Enders title debuted with a demo of MGS 2 and as such, did fairly well in the sales charts. Another title from the brilliant mind of Hideo Kojima, the game delivered a solid experience that could stand on its own merit. Most mech games that came before ZOE were slow, cumbersome, and just plain awkward; for the first time, a mech game was done with style and a visual flair that put it head and shoulders above the crowd. Now, hot on the heels of ZOEâs success comes the sequel, Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner.

Over the past few years the Tiger Woods series has dominated the PS2 in a genre of sports that has been seldom touched by other companies. The only other golf game on the Playstation 2 was Hot Shots Golf 3, which is an arcade golf title. With no real competition Tiger Woods PGA Tour has always been the King of golf on the PS2. Even with no competition EA Sports has always made a great golf game. Does this trend continue for EA?

It's not everyday that I'm excited to open up a new sports game, especially during the month of april. But all that changed when I opened up my brand-spanking new copy of NBA Street vol.2. I will tell you this right now, after playing this game for countless hours by myself and with friends, this game is by far the best game of it's type (sorry Street Hoops ).
