Players: 1 to 2 Player Game | Genre: Strategy RPG
Release Date: Winter 2014

“After the Comet of Sigmar crashed on Mordheim, the City of Damned turned into a terrifying battlefield where rival warbands fight fiercely for the control of key neighborhoods, looking for glory and fortune by acquiring the very valuable Wyrdstone fragments.” So we were told.
The battle at E3 2014 was a cooperative match between the Sister of Sigmar and the Skaven. Apologize to fans of the tabletop game, but that depletes my knowledge of the universe of characters. Mordheim City of the Damned plays out as a Tactical, Turn-Based Role Playing Game where you lead groups of characters, known as Warbands, into skirmishes against the opposition.
Death in Mordheim City of the Damned means that unit has a chance to be completely removed from your game or if they are able to get a favorable dice roll, they will only get another type of injury that will limit them in the future. These include loss of limb, loss of an eye, or other type of crippling ailment. Matches played against friends or ranked will not be counted towards death or other penalties. They will, however, give you more experience points.
The maps in Mordheim City of the Damned are randomly generated each time you play. This gives a greater replay value to the player. Each of the characters also has two different weapons to pick from and can upgrade their characters and abilities as they get enough experience points.
Mordheim City of the Damned is played almost exclusively from the third person viewpoint. This seems to be a strange design choice as this is a Strategy game. Regardless of this, the game will be out in Winter 2014 for the PC platform.
