Game Informer Digital has spilled the beans on an announcement that was supposed to take place on February 5, 2013. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is well into development for next-generation platforms and PC. The Witcher 3 is said to have a world more than 20% larger than Skyrim and be completely open world using the REDengine 3, announced last week. The world is so large, it will take around 40 minutes to go from one side of the world to the other on horseback!
In the sequel, Geralt will have his memory restored, there will be no Acts or Chapters, and Geralt will be fighting for himself only.
We will report back with more details should the official release provide more insight.

My son can't stop playing or talking about Skylanders. Activision is hoping to keep that going with new domain names that have been registered. These include Skylanders Kaos Alliance, Skylanders Nano Force, Skylanders Super Force, and Skylanders Swap Force.
Could one or all of these titles lead us to the future of the Skylanders franchise? With the New York Toy Fair fast approaching, we should find out soon. Why the New York Toy Fair? This is where Activision revealed Skylanders Giants last year. We hope to report back with news soon!
The ill-received PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale has now caused Sony to terminate all ties with its Developer SuperBot Entertainment. Sony Santa Monica Studios will handle all future DLC and title updates. SuperBot Entertainment is not shutting doors and has some other projects they are working on.
David Yang, President of SuperBot had this to say:
"SuperBot Entertainment can confirm that the relationship with SCEA has ended on good terms. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work on with Sony on PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, and are extremely proud of the work we have done.
SuperBot Entertainment will continue working on projects that reflect our passion for games and our commitment to creating award winning titles. We are very excited about beginning the next chapter of our future and invite all of our fans and supporters to follow our journey."
Zen Studios has been pumping out some excellent pinball games in recent years and today leaked word, videos, and images of Star Wars tables set to include Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In addition, they are working on seven other tables set in the Star Wars Universe that will all be revealed during 2013!
Sadly, all of this exciting news was quickly pulled down. We were able to grab a screenshot of the front of the video. We should hear some further news soon.
When it rains, it pours. Right now, the Wii U is getting drenches as the console was revealed to be lagging behind in sales. Plantinum Games has sais that there is virtually no chance for a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance port on the Wii U due to lack of demand for the console. I am sensing trouble in the world of Nintendo.
On to more bad news. GameStop, the 900 Pound Gorilla in videogames retail, is planning on shutting down 500+ stores over 2013 due to a weakened economy. With the new game consoles expecting to include some type of anti-used game technology in them, could this be the beginning of the end for the videogame retailer?
